This Privacy Policy explains how My Private Scanner ("the App") handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
The App processes all scanned documents and images locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or have access to your scanned documents, photos, or files. No personal data is transmitted to our servers.
The App requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to scan documents and import images. These permissions are used only for the core functionality of the App. All captured and imported images remain on your device.
Scanned documents are stored locally on your device using the App's dedicated storage. This data is not accessible to other apps and is removed when you uninstall the App or delete documents within the App.
The App offers subscriptions and in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. All purchase transactions are governed by Apple's privacy policy and terms of service.
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is EmailJS, which processes messages sent through the Contact Us form. When you submit a contact message, your name, email address, and message content are transmitted to EmailJS solely to deliver your message to us. No other data is shared with third parties.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete individual documents or all data at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected or transmitted, the App does not raise specific concerns regarding children's privacy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
